He floats like a butterfly and stings like a beeeee!

Jay left for Memphis this week!  Mikey Mikeyand him are working hard with John Hampton to mix the record!  Can't believe it is all happening so quick yet so slow.  Jay had to record some more vocals and John Hampton looks like he's mixing diligently on a great record :) Its all happening!  That reminds me of my favorite movie- Almost Famous :)  Anyways, Jay and Mikey are enjoying some real good Memphis Style BBQ down there!!!  Yum.

Before Jay left he taught me how to drive stick.  I'm just alright at it.  Unlike these guys. They are pro stick shift racers.  Damn, how bad ass is that...  Not really...

 

Unfortunately, driving stick has lead me to many a new places because I have been avoiding stop and go areas.  Lima and Avon are perfect for avoiding that, however, an hour away from where I started.  I went to visit Bella in the hospital. She got to show me where she has to take a shot of insulin with this doll.I think I have a nack for taking creepy pictures of children... eh?  But definitely NOT as creepy as this:

 

I mean, however thought up these things really knows something about creepy.  Obviously this was their intention. Anyways, when I left the hospital, even though my house is 2 miles away from it, I ended up in Henrietta. To avoid 5 O'clock traffic I at here!  Yumm chicken wings.  They have a nice deli to!  And nice water.  By the time I felt the roads were safe again... Trust me they never are... I headed back home... Or so I thought.  Until I was in LIMA AND AVON?!  I did eventually make it home.  

Speaking of home.... I went and visited my parents, brothers and sisters.  Melissa and I made some music!  A song called Eliza :)  Were going to record it when Jay comes home.  

I got my hair cut at Beau Monde.  Alicia did a great job.  I like it a lot.

Jay has been working like a mad man to finish up the record.  Tomorrow, him and Mikey will the leaving early in the morning to go down to Memphis!!  The day has come!  Anyways, I went with Jay one night to hang out while he edited in the space at Ecco Tone.  I noticed this:

 

However, I was disappointed to find there was no actual eye wash station at Ecco Tone.  Oh well.  What is an eye washing station anyways and how does it work??  Ahh apparently it looks a little something like this 

 

 Dang, I really would have like to test one of these out.  Oh beans!

I went for a walk around the block.  The gazebo is a looker ain't it!  There's a church in town I am dying to go inside of just to see what it looks like.  It seems that, the doors are only open at mass time on Sundays- 10am, every time I have tried to take a look inside the doors are locked!  So, tomorrow being Sunday, if I have the strength to pull myself out of bed, I will walk to this bad boy and take a look around!

On Thursday, Jay Cal and I drove to NYC to see Adam Green and Devendra Banhart Both were phenomenal.  We parked our car in stinky New Jersey and took a bus in to the city.  We walked to Terminal 5 where we got to rock out a bit :)

 After the show we some how made it back to Port Authority by 12:45am, in time to make it back to the last bus back to New Jersey.  Phew.

But we didn't quite catch that bus...  Ya see, Cal, being slightly intoxicated, does what he wants bitch and faught a very tall, hard, strong looking fellow.  But his arms were rather sharp and it did a number on Cals finger.  After being told many times that Cal needed stitches right away, we decided to wrap it up and take it like a man. 

 

Thanks to Jay, we did eventually make it to stinky New Jersey and traveled back home.  But we didn't forget about Cal's finger.  We got him to urgent care early in the morning.
